If you live in California, you may have heard that regulators and environmental organizations are targeting three tributaries to allow more water flow to the Bay-Delta. It turns out this is a threat to customers of water and electric. One of the campaigns that is helping to raise awareness of the issue is Worth Your Fight. If you haven’t heard of it, here is what the campaign is all about and how you can help:

Fighting Harmful Proposals

Worth Your Fight is an organization that has made it its mission to fight any proposal that could put water and power at risk. As of right now, the Bay-Delta Plan has support from the Governor, legislature and other government powers. It’s important now, more than ever, to express the harm this could cause.

Analyzing the Proposal

Part of what the campaign does is that it looks into the impacts that a proposal could have on the environment and the quality of life for others. It’s important to have all of the information possible and to make sure that no proposal goes through unchecked.
